Good Things Monday

So last night I realized I messed up our budget. IDK what happened but I am short this month.  This plus being hot because the AC is broken has led me to being very stressed out.  I am not sleeping well because its so hot.  All of this led to a mini fight with J.  He isn't sure he wants to move forward with water proofing the basement. He wants to do it, but isn't sure the company is doing it the right away. IDK either way but we can't find anyone else to do it, so we should just get it done.

ANYWAYS...

In may I got a $1400 bill for my MC. I was devastated.  I took the summer job to pay the bill for it.  Well, I haven't received a bill yet after they needed to adjust it. I went online and it said paid.  So I called to verify and the lady on the phone said that it was taken care of by my insurance. All of it! I cried on the phone.  So now I can put that money elsewhere.  I feel so relieved.

That is great news!!!  Not much here other than laundry and grocery shopping.  I guess the good news is that Lily is in a good mood today.    Always makes for a better day than a bad mood.

I feel like I got a lot done yesterday, and had some free time to do the things I wanted to do, which is a first for a LONG time.

My good news is that DH had an interview today in the very best school district around here and he said it went really well. Now, hopefully he will get the 2nd and then the 3rd interview!

Also, my landlord wants to sell our nice townhouse and we are bummed by it. He originally said he wants us out by April 15 so he can list it empty, but yesterday I talked him into listing it while we live here as long as we clear out our clutter and make it showable. I am happy.

I am happy the party is over. Now I can try to work on some small projects like a menu board for meal planning before dh goes back to work. I am also happy dh doesn't go back to work until the second week in August. We are going camping in 2 weeks with his family and I am happy for the time away.
